Water Level: 923.4  Normal Pool 915.00
Water Temperature: High 70's main lake
Water Color: Clear up shallow and good color around the rest of the lake. But dirty water will be coming down towards the DAM soon.
Creek Arms James, Long Creek are stained, White River Shell Knob to Camel Point down stream is clear.
Air Temperature: High 70's
Wind Condition: Calm
Forecast:  Mostly Sunny

Ike really hit this area hard with High winds and a Jump in the lake by 6 feet in three days.

Well here we go again, the COE has opened all 10 Flood Gates at the DAM, this will make for great fishing on the Rock. Seems like everytime this happens it really gets these fish moving shallow and really eating crawfish again. Once the flow gets really moving it will push these fish up shallow again and the small Jig and Football jig will come back to life big time!

Long Creek Area: Slow but getting better
Dam area, Indian Point to Kimberling City Area: Fair Bite!
Baxter Area to Shell Knob Area:  Best Bite up the rivers
James River Area: Best Bite up the rivers for now.
Taneycomo: Still there but fast water.

BASS FISHING

Best Bet Early and Late

Small Jigs are the ticket right now, up shallow in the 15 - to 20 feet range on the main lake points and the flats on the inside of those same points. 5/16 finesse are working really well along with 1/2 football jigs. Drags these baits from shallow to deep on the main lake points, Swimming the bait back is also working for me as well. Also don't forget to flip the flooded bushes as long as the water is up and in those bushes.

Bite is fast on Night Crawlers so take a lot and Plastic like Robo Worms is working well also with colors of Brown and Purple or Brown and Red in a 4 inch size. Rigging your crawler seems to be the trick right now for really fast action, all I will say is don't gob it together, Electronics are big now but that part you will to have hire me to see that.  Remember the bite changes in every area we fished, so pay attention and feel the bite. Spoons will also really start to take off as well, I have been throw a 1/2 ounce all white and swimming it back to the boat. Little Cleo's are working as well in the same areas.

Trout Fishing is Good to Fair

Trout fishing is starting to pickup again, the lower area of Taneycomo is starting to produce some good fishing with high current, COE keeps running generators everyday and now have all 10 flood gates open keeping the water at a very fast flow up in the trophy zone.  Small white Jigs on a drift rig will come back to life in the trophy area. Also we are dragging power bait on a 2 pound leader from the cooper creek area to just past the Branson Landing area. Colors are White, Sunrise, Chartreuse, Lemon Lime and Bubble Gum on the bottom or just suspended off the bottom. If you find a spot with fish stay there, fish are bunched up in groups right now, Will keep reporting my findings, Thanks for reading my reports drop me an email and let me know how your fishing trip was on Table Rock Lake and Taneycomo Lake.

Good Fishing Everyone
